MEMBERSHIP CONDITIONS

Please read these membership terms and conditions carefully before purchasing the EVO LEAGUE Membership - a product of MAGLES GmbH - and becoming a member of the EVO LEAGUE.

  1. By paying the annual fee, the member agrees to the General Terms and Conditions (available at: https://www.evoleague.de/policies/terms-of-service ) and these Membership Conditions. Membership begins on the day MAGLES GmbH accepts the member in accordance with Section 2, Paragraph 2.3 of the General Terms and Conditions.
  2. At the same time, the member agrees to the EVO LEAGUE Anti-Doping Regulations (available at: https://www.evoleague.de/pages/anti-doping-bestimmungen-1 ) and confirms that they have not used any Prohibited Substances or Prohibited Methods according to the WADA Prohibited Lists (available at: https://www.wada-ama.org/en/prohibited-list#/ ) and NADA Prohibited Lists (available at: https://www.nada.de/medizin/verbotsliste ) for ten (10) years prior to joining, and have therefore been and remain doping-free within the meaning of the WADA and NADA Prohibited Lists since that time. In individual cases, MAGLES GmbH may require the signing of an affidavit and a declaration of awareness of the liability risk. Refusal to sign is equivalent to a positive doping test result and will result in exclusion from all EVO LEAGUE competitions and immediate termination of membership.
  3. The membership term is 12 months, with a four-week notice period prior to the end of the membership. After the 12-month period, the membership is extended indefinitely and can be terminated at any time with four weeks' notice per month. Any termination by the member can be submitted by email to: service@evoleague.de .
  4. MAGLES GmbH has the right to reject a member's membership within 30 days of commencing or rejoining. If the member's application is rejected within 30 business days ("right of rejection"), the membership is deemed not to have been completed. Without prejudice to MAGLES GmbH's other rights and remedies, MAGLES GmbH reserves the right to terminate a membership, even without stating a reason, at any time during the year with four weeks' notice. In both cases, the member will be notified immediately by email; the annual fee will be refunded in full within seven business days of notification.
  5. Upon completion of membership, the member is included in the so-called EVO LEAGUE test pool and can be subjected to doping controls during a competition in which the member participates, as well as to training controls and visits at any time in accordance with the anti-doping conditions of the EVO LEAGUE (available at: https://www.evoleague.de/pages/anti-doping-bestimmungen-1 ).
  6. A current EVO LEAGUE membership is mandatory to participate in EVO LEAGUE-related competitions. Non-members or members subject to a permanent competition ban as defined in Section 7 may not participate in EVO LEAGUE-related competitions.
  7. If a member terminates their membership and wishes to rejoin the EVO LEAGUE membership at a later date, the (ex-)member's reinstatement is at the discretion of MAGLES GmbH. Rejoining the member will result in a 24-month competition ban before they may again participate in events/competitions organized or supported by the EVO LEAGUE. Upon rejoining the membership and rejoining the member, the member must also cover the costs of an unannounced doping test. These measures serve to optimize the EVO LEAGUE's anti-doping strategy.
  8. By completing their membership, the member agrees that their personal data may be collected, processed, or otherwise used by MAGLES GmbH, or that this data may be forwarded to (event) partners of the EVO LEAGUE, insofar as this is necessary for the conception, organization, and implementation of doping-free sports competitions, and to the third-party company authorized to enforce anti-doping regulations (as of August 2024, Global Quality Sports GmbH), insofar as this is necessary for the planning, coordination, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up of doping controls/enforcement of anti-doping regulations. MAGLES GmbH, its partners, and the third-party company authorized to conduct doping controls will treat this data confidentially and ensure that they act in accordance with applicable data protection law when handling this data. The data must be destroyed as soon as it is no longer required for these purposes. The member has the option of revoking their consent at any time.
